Colmore Tang wanted a refreshed brand identity which reflected their values and helped them to stand out as a leading contractor. I led the team in creating a simplified brand strategy and guidelines to help bring consistency to a fast-growing business and better reflect their desire to connect with their customers, growing trust in the industry.
We focused our thinking on the notion of spaces, how anyone buying from or working with Colmore Tang was investing in a space they were going to love - from a contractor that was working together with them, rather than acting as a faceless builder - this formed the foundations of the identity.
A modular graphic system and strong industrial typefaces create a simple yet striking identity. Easy to understand, jargon-less and structural; Imagery of people, those buying from or working for the brand, takes centre stage, offering a human connection with Colmore Tang, encouraging the much-needed trust they were looking for.
